Former President John Dramani Mahama and his family celebrated this year’s Christmas with some children in his native hometown of Bole in the Savannah Region.
As a son of the land, he was welcomed home by an emotional crowd who were dressed in colours of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The Former President and his family shared lovely moments with the children and paid visit to the Bolewura’s palace.
Speaking at the chief palace, Bolewura Sarfo Kutege Feso (I) encouraged Former President to be patient and that they have seen and heard whatever that has happened during the election period.
He said Former President John Dramani Mahama is a true native of Bole and for that matter he together with his chiefs, religious leaders are solely behind him, praying for peace to prevail.
Alhaji Fuseini, Bole NDC Constituency Chairman speaking on behalf of John Dramani Mahama said “he came to greet kambile wura at his funeral and hence can’t avoid going to the Bole wura’s place to greet his father”.
He said the Former President has been celebrating Christmas with children in Bole during every festive season by partying and sharing of gifts with children of Bole.
