President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed the former District Chief Executive of the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District, Mr James Kipo Sunyehzi, as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Boundary Commission(Gh BC’s).
Mr James Kipo Sunyehzi was a former DCE under the erstwhile administration of Former President John Agyekum Kufour of the New Patriotic Party.
He was also a Former Parliamentary candidate of his party in the same constituency.

Meanwhile, the Savannah Regional NPP under the Chairmanship of Mr Iddrisu Sulemana popularly known as professor Kalomonia has congratulated Mr James Kipo Sunyehzi on his appointment as the new Deputy Chief Executive Of the Ghana Boundary Commission.
A statement from the regional party Communications Directorate described his appointment as welcomed news.
“Thank you to H.E President Akufo Addo and Hon. Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor for appointing of a man with vast experience to serve as the deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Boundary Commission, Congratulations once more Hon. James Kipo Sunyehzi on your new job and role”, the statement added.
The Regional Communications Directorate said it was confident that the depth of knowledge Mr James brings to the Commission would translate into enormous success for the Commission.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo recently swore into office a 15-Member Board of the Ghana Boundaries Commission in Accra.
President Akufo-Addo tasked the reconstituted board of the Commission, among others, to determine and demarcate Ghana’s land boundaries and delimit the country’s maritime boundaries per accepted principles of international law.
The President also urged the Commission to adopt international best practices on the demarcation and delimitation of the boundaries.
The Board’s Chairperson, Samuel Abu Jinpor, thanked the President for reposing confidence in them and promised that the Commission would faithfully discharge its mandate and responsibility for the betterment of the country.
The reconstituted Ghana Boundary Commission board has Samuel Abu Jinpor, Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, as its Chairman.
Others include Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration; Godfred Yeboah Dame, Attorney – General and Minister for Justice; Dominic Nitiwul, Minister for Defence; Lawrence Asangongo Apaalse, Chief Director, Ministry of Energy; Nathaniel Amonoo Wilson, Ministry of Transport; and Samuel Seth Passah, Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development.
The rest are Osei Bonsu Dickson, Esq, National Security Council; Emmanuel Philip Owusu-Boakye, Ghana Revenue Authority, Michael Enam Dordor, Ghana Institute of Surveyors; Prof. Jerry Samuel Yaw Kuma, Ghana Institute of Geoscientists; Dr Bukari Ali, Minister’s Nominee; Major General Emmanuel Wekem Kotia, National Coordinator, Ghana Boundary Commission; and a representative of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture yet to be nominated.
