The Bole District Football Association (BDFA) has announced that all is set for the commencement of the 2023/2024 Division Three league on Friday July 21, 2023.
The opening match of the season took place at Banda Nkwanta where new comers Golden FC annihilated Bole based J2 Academy by 5 goals to zero.
History was made as for the first time , a single player by name Mohammed Mahama scored all 5 goals for the home side.
His unprecedented achievement has handed Golden FC a comfortable lead already.
Attention will now shift north-westwards as Mandari hosts the other two games.
Two time Division Three league campaigners in the form of Kafinti FC will fancy giving newly formed royal team Kutugefeso FC a run for their money when the two meet at the Mandari EA Park.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, another Mandari team known as Mandari FC will host Tinga FC in another scintillating encounter.
For this round of matches, the 7th team in Bole based Yagbon 11 will be standing bye.
Only seven teams registered to take part in this season’s campaign at the end of registration a couple of weeks ago.
Last week, the BDFA had their widerly anticipated novel curtain raiser between Kafinti FC and Yagbon 11 rained off.
However the juvenile league did start last week.
