The District Chief Executive of the Bole District, Hon. Veronica Alele Heming has urged residents of the Bole District not to be terrified when they see more military officers in their communities than the normal.
She noted that there is a group of trans-national army officers which comprises of officers from Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Botswana among other countries in the African continent who are in the Bole District to undertake a study on traditional administration and it’s impact in the development of the society.
“I know it isn’t usual to see over 40 army officers in our District but don’t be scared, they are student army officers from various countries in Africa who are in our District to undertake a study on traditional governance system and it’s contribution to the development of our society”, she said.
The paramount chief of the Bole Traditional Area, Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso (I) who received the delegation assured them of the support of the Bole Traditional Council and told them to feel free as they undertake their study in the area.
He also gave them a bull and over 50 tubers of yam as a kind gesture from the Traditional Council and to motivate the officers on their mission.
