Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has entreated the people of Sawla-Tuna-Kalba to vote massively during this years election for the party of the present government to continue with its development agenda.

He noted that since 1992, the voting pattern of the constituents has been the same explaining “you always vote for the National Democratic Congress candidates to represent you in parliament”.

Dr. Bawumia was speaking at Tuna to round of his tour of the Savannah Region.

“We do not discriminate when it comes to the development of an area,” he said, adding, “no government in Ghana can match the history of this ruling party”.

He added that he needed their mandate to become the President of the country in January 2025, to continue with the unfinished agenda of the ruling NPP.

Dr. Bawumia explained that people were voted into power to protect the future of the people and to ensure that there was development for the people.

He therefore encouraged the people to change their voting pattern and vote for the NPP and the parliamentary candidate, Ankaara Sankara in this year’s election.

He urged all to forge ahead in unity for the party, the area and the country as a whole, adding that, “you should vote for the NPP for you to have a representative in parliament who will discuss your needs with the president”.

Mr. Abu Jinapor, Member of Parliament for the Damongo seat noted that with unity, the party can retain its current 3 seats in the Savannah Region and in addition to 2 seats making it 5 seats.
