Bolewura Sarfo kutugefeso (l), paramount chief and president of the Bole Traditional Area has called on his chiefs to assist the Ghana statistical Service to educate residents in his Traditional Area on the ongoing Population and Housing Census.

Bolewura made the call at his residence when the District Census Committee led by the District Census Officer Mr Dramani Mahama visited his Palace to inform him about the official start of the exercise and challenges so far.

Bolewura said Bole District is a vast area but central government thinks it has fewer number of people or houses. But this will vindicate us that Bole befits a municipal statu, but we can only achieve this if we avail ourselves for the exercise.

Bolewura said this exercise will enable government to plan in terms of resource allocation and economic planning of the country .

He also admonished the citizens of his Traditional Area not to feel intimidated when they request of people with disability as the victim has a lot to benefit from the identification .

As a president of the Traditional Area he again admonished his chiefs as a matter of agency convey meetings in their respective places to educate the people to embrace the exercise.

He also said it is not a political affair but a national exercise to know what is within the territory of this country.

Bolewura urged all to support the exercise so that Bole can get the needed resources with the current numbers we have as a District.
