The Paramount Chief of the Bole Traditional Area, Bolewura Sarfo Kutuge Feso( l), has appointment Mr Bawah Amadu alias Yaa Amadu as the new Zongo Chief for Bole.
Bolewura wished him well and urged him to fulfill his father’s legacy, who was also a former Zongo Chief till his demise in 2021.
However Mr Adams Abdulai, with some section of the youth resisted the election of Mr Mohammed Attitor as the new Youth chief of Bole.
According to Bolewura, the out going youth leader said he is old and could not do some duties expected of him and so asked Bolewura to get a young vibrant person but however recommend Mr Atittor A.K.A Akula as his successor.
Bolewura pleaded with the youth to exercise restrain for the appointment was not with customs and tradition but for the respect of the outgoing leader, the youth should accept Mr Atittor.
Mr Culture suggested that it will set as a bad precedent and for that matter Bolewura should allow the youth of Bole to meet and elect their own leader and stated that suggestion was not to undermine the authority of Bolewura.
Despite Bolewura’s plead, some section of the youth still went ahead to reject his appointment.
So Bolewura suspended the appointment Mr Akula’s as Youth leader for further consultations.
