Three schools have booked their places at the grand finale of the Kutuge Feso Science and Maths Quiz on Thursday, October, 2022.
They are Bole ST. Kizito B JHS, Nyange D/A JHS and Bole Methodist B JHS.
The three schools emerged winners of their respective semi-final contests in which the three qualifying schools dug deep to edge out equally formidable contestants.
Nyange D/A JHS today made history by becoming the first JHS from the Sawla-Tuna – Kalba District to qualify for the grand finale of the Kutuge Feso Science and Maths Quiz.
The two contestants for the school made their school proud when they edged out Sawla ST. Monica’s JHS and Sawla D/A JHS at the semi- finals level.
Nyange D/A JHS scored 32.5 points, as against 29 by St. Monica’s JHS and 21 by Sawla D/A JHS.
In the first contest of the day, St. Kizito B JHS kept its dream of annexing the title for the first time alive when it won the contest.
The vim of Mankuma R/C JHSfrom and the zeal of Bale Methodist JHS could not stop St.Kizito B JHS from inching closer to the dream of a first time final.
St.Kizito B JHS obtained 18 points, while Mankuma R/C had 12, with Bale Methodist JHS clinching 5 points.
On Thursday October 20, 2022, any of the three qualified schools for the finals will have the opportunity to write its name in the sands of time.
While Nyange D/A JHS and St.Kizito B JHS will try to add their names to the list of first-time finalist winners, Bole Methodist B JHS will try to make it two to maintain the record as the school with the highest number of wins.
