The Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi constituency, Hon Yusif Sulemana has donated 100 bags of cement to support the construction of a Polyclinic by the Catholic Church in Bole.
The church made the appeal to him when he worshipped with them on 31st December to support in the building of their health facility.
The gesture from the MP therefore, is to assist the church to complete the project.
Presenting the cement to the church,the MP commended them for that bold initiative and assured them of his commitment to supporting any initiative that will contribute to improving primary health care in the area.
The Member of Parliament is been described by many as a man of action who does not promise and fail and as such the need for this support that is going to help the church contribute its quota to development.
The donation was received with glaring appreciation from members of the church.
On their part, they assured the MP that the cement would be used for its purpose.
The MP had extended similar gestures to some other communities in the constituency who are undertaking such community initiatives.
On October 19,2020, he donated 50 bags of cement to the Assemblies of God Church at Mandari to support them in building a church.
The donation according by the MP formed part of his commitment to ensuring that his constituents are served in all diverse ways.
The MP had also in recent time gave packets of roofing sheets to the Jentige community to aid in the completion of their teachers quarters.
The Catholic Church currently has a health centre within the church premises but has began the initiative to establish a polyclinic.
