The Bole- Bamboi constituency office of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Savannah Region has inagurated its campaign team for the crucial December 7, general elections.
Addressing members of the party at the inauguration ceremony, the Savannah Regional chairman of NDC Mr. Seidu Imoro encouraged his members to fully take part in the exhibition exercise by the Eectoral Commission which began on September 18, 2020.
The chairman charged his members to report as quickly as possible if a member does not find his name on newly compiled register. “Be very vigilante so that we will not be cheated in this election”, Alhaji Imoro stated.
The chairman said blame game led the party into opposition for which no one benefited from.
We said we didn’t get anything when our party won power but today your party is in opposition are you better off today? He quizzed.
Meanwhile he told the media that they will not demonstrate like their Akyem brothers are doing but channel that energy into winning the 2020 election by wisdom of their elders.
He advised party supporters to solidly rally behind John Mahama in the upcoming elections to wrestle power from the NPP and retain Hon.Yussif Sulemana as MP for the Bole- Bamboi constituency.
Addressing the media, the Member of Parliament and the Parliamentary candidate for NDC Hon. Alhaji Yussif Sulemana stated that he and his party respect the cosmopolitan nature of the constituency which has brought on board all the ethnic groups of the Constituency.
“I and members of the NDC party will not engage in tribal politics We heard that we are scared of losing that is why we chose to involve all the ethnic which is not the case, If we chose to go tribal we even have greater chance of winning but that is not the right way to go in politics”, Hon Yussif noted.
The campaign team is made up of caders council of elders, party executives and all ethnic groups in the constituency.
