The 47th Biennial home coming Congress of the Birifor Youth Association (BYA) will take place at Tuna, in the Sawla-Tuna- Kalba District of the Savannah Region beginning from April 28 to 30, 2023, under theme: “Promoting peace and unity in cultural diversity in Ghana: The Role of The Birifor Youth”.
The Birifor Youth Association home coming Congresses over the years have served as an avenue, where all the indigenes of Birifor, residents of Birifor as well as all persons who by special circumstances and or choice are affiliated to the affairs of Birifor, meet to deliberate, reflect and constructively debate on the socio political and economic well being of the Birifor people.
The congress also afford the various youth Associations in Birifor a unique opportunity to socialise, discuss and share experiences and challenges in the course of the previous year and gives the people an opportunity to share their plans and experiences towards the development of Birifor.
A lot of activities including clean- up exercises, talented kids show,quiz competition, debates, health walk and soccer games are expected to take in the first two days of the Congress.
The grand durbar of the Congress is expected to take place in April 30, 2023 at the premises of the Tuna cluster of schools.
Pastor Danaah Kwaku of the Pentecost Church in Accra will be the guest of honor for the occasion.
The current Executive Board of the BYA is under the auspices of Madam Vivien Ne- ormah Nyoni, a senior officer with the Customs Division in Ghana.
