In an interview with Yagbon news, Adams Latifa (Miss Gonja) said ” as a Muslim lady you need to be modest and fashionable in your appearance and you must not necessarily dress half naked to be complimented as a beautiful lady”.

She noted that nothing comes easy in life despite her award, she admonished all females to take their religious and  their academic studies seriously and be prayerful in all what they do and trust in Allah.

She further thanked the organisers of MMG’20, her parents, Bolewura, the chief Imam, the media and the people of Bole for their massive support during the competition till the end and dedicated her crown to the people of Bole because she believes it was out of their support that she earned it .
