Mr. Banasco Seidu Nuhu, Parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party of the Sawla- Tuna- Kalba Constituency in the Savannah Region has secured a new ambulance for the Emergency Medical Services station in Tuna to ensure timely and quality health care delivery to the constituents.
The ambulance, is also to assist the Tuna Health Centre to effectively enhance quality health care delivery in the constituency by responding quickly to emergency cases to safe lives.
The new ambulance is fitted with all the paramedic equipment that provides life support to patients when being transferred to a health facility to safe lives especially in cases of fatal accidents.
Handing over the ambulance on monday, May 11th, 2020 Tunawura who received the keys to the ambulance, expressed gratitude to the NPP Parliamentary candidate for taking the initiative to assist them with the ambulance, saying its provision is a major relief to residents in the area.
He said the services of the ambulance at the area would further improve health care delivery, while contributing to the development of the constituency.
The Parliamentary candidate through his NGO (Nasco Feeding Minds) has impacted positively on the lives of the constituents as in provision of computers to schools to improve the standard of education and provision of free medical screening to improve the health status of the people in the constituency.
The latest donation by the parliamentary candidate to the Tuna Emergency Medical Services station has increased the number of ambulances in the Sawla- Tuna- Kalba Constituency to 4 as the Member of Parliament, Hon. Dari Andrew Chiwitey had earlier on donated two to the constituency thus; Sawla Polycyclic and Kalba Health Center and one from government flagship policy “one constituency, one ambulance”.
