Assembly Man donates to widows in his Electoral Area.

Hon. Alhaji Abdulai Mohammed, Assembly member for Kawurbi Electoral Area of the Sawla- Tuna- Kalba district on the 10th of May, 2021, donated items to over forty (40) widows to empathize with them at the end of the Islamic month of Ramadan which is few days away.

The Items included; mini bags of polish rice, frytol oil, noodles, canned fish among others.

Addressing the chiefs and widows of his electoral Hon. Alhaji said the kind gesture is from benevolence people who’s Identity are withheld, but admonished the widows to remember those people in prayers.

He said one major duty of an assembly member is to lobby for projects and investors of which he is doing with all passion to improving the living conditions of his people.

He said this has become necessary because he has observed as an assembly member, some widows cannot afford a three square meal that prompted him do solicit for support to touch the lives of these underprivileged.

In an address to the media he Chronicled some of his achievements since became an Assembly member for the kawurbi Electoral Area.

He mentioned the renewal of health insurance of for 40 residents of his electoral area, renovated the only surviving public toilet in Sawla , currently drilling a borehole, construction of a gutter as his achievements as he looks forward to working hard to uplift the image of the electoral area.

He however mentioned the Member of Parliament of the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency, Hon Dari Chiwitey Andrew for being part of the successes he chalked so far.

He pleaded the women and chiefs to remember him in prayers to be able attract investors to the area as that is a duty of an assembly member.

The widows were very happy and prayed for the Assembly Man for the kind gesture as one of the beneficiaries Hajia emotionally said if not for the intervention of Hon Alhaji Abdulai said they wouldn’t have being able to pay for their health care when their health insurance got expired.
