Assembly Man donates to widows in his Electoral Area.

The Assemblyman for Kawurbi Electoral Area in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District, Hon Alhaji Abdulai Mohammed popularly known as Alhaji has donated some items to widows and the needy in his Electoral Area to mark the end of the Ramadan.

Addressing his electoral area members, he said Ramadan is a month of blessing and mercy that is why he has seized the opportunity to donate the items for the break of the fasting.

According to him he has being elected to work for himself and the people without pay. That is why he will always get these items to support them.

He also pleaded with the his members to pardon him as he has being a bit busy in his studies which made his inability to always visit then frequently.

He said his service to them has no bounds and will always work for them and so he pleaded with those who received last year to wait for another time.

The items included a bowl of rice, oil, mackerel, sadines, spaghetti distributed to 43 selected widows and the needy in the electoral area.

Speaking to yagbon Radio he said this is not the first time and will not be last of the such kind gesture.

He said all will bear with him that on festive days some cannot get to celebrate especially widows and the needy no help from anywhere so this is what he can do for them.

He said this is the best he can do for his people but not all will always get at the same time.

Mrs Mari Wayo, said their assembly man is very responsible and at any point he is called upon he has always avail himself
and so on behalf of my colleagues we say Allah bless him, she said.
