Akufo Addo- led administration better than Mahama’s – Savannah Region NPP.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Savannah Region has stated that the NPP in the Region has superior records, especially under President Akufo Addo over the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The ruling party said the opposition comes no where near its records especially during the administration of John Mahama and said it will be suicidal to give him another chance to the country.

The Youth commander of the party in the Savannah Region, Raphael Akati Mahama stated this at Bacham hotel at Damongo as part of a project dubbed “The Youth Must know Series “, by the Youth wing of the party.

The project seeks to highlight on the achievements of the NPP and Nana Addo’s Government as far as the Savannah Region is concern, Mr Akati noted.

Chronicling these achievements of Mr Akati said 215 workers were employed under local government, 309 under various security agencies and over 600 under teaching and non teaching staff.

Under Audit, COCOBOD and NIA employed 220 in Savannah Region, Mr Akati said.

Still on employment Mr Akati who is also the Savannah Regional Director of YEA said 1,441 benefited from the program with 863 in youth in afforestation.

On flagship programs, he indicated that 2,100 livestock’s were distributed of 300 to each district under the raring for food and jobs.

He said 700 famers are benefiting from planting for food and jobs.

Under NABCO 350 youth from each district in Savannah Region benefited from the policy, Akati noted.

On scholarship 397 students benefited in Savannah Region of which 509 students still await award of government scholarship to a tune of GHC 1,000,000.00.

On infrastructure, Mr Akati said all decentralized departments in the Savannah Region are at various stages of completion .

He also stated that all SHS’s in the region has experienced a face lift in infrastructure including the construction and completion of the Larbanga Islamic SHS.

On roads, he mentioned the construction of Damongo and Salaga roads, Salaga-Bimbila, Tamales-Salaga-Makango, Salaga-Ekumdipe-Kpandai road, Bunjai-fufulso raod and Daboya mankargu road and indicated that all roads leading to Salaga are all asfat roads.

Speaking to Yagbon Radio, Mr Akati said the times of let’s vote for our brother is over as a vote for our Kyebi brother has really impacted the life of the people .

“We fought for this Region for a long time and the brother who does eat not TZ created it for us instead of our own brother so you can see Nana Addo has out performed candidate mahama”, Mr Akati stated.
