Abdulai Mahamud Confirmed As Bole DCE.The District Chief Executive (DCE) nominee for Bole, Hon. Abdulai Mahamud has been confirmed by the Assembly Members of the District.

Abdulai Mahmud polled 34 out of the 39 valid votes cast, representing 87.18% and 5 voted NO.

Speaking after the conformation Hon. Abdulai Mahamud stated that it is a great honor to be confirmed as the District Chief Executive for the Bole District.

The newly confirmed DCE added that it is clear that it has been a free and fair election and his most grateful to the Assembly Members for endorsing him, and this poses a challenge that for his confirmation he does not have any job here than to come and serve the good people of Bole District.

“To we the youth, this poses a responsibility on us and I am just like you and what it means is that we need to bring our expertise on board and what ever anyone knows be it technically or administration please bring it on board, I come with unity of purpose and it is peace that is the vehicle that will propel us for development and without peace there is nothing” he said.

Hon. Mahamud noted that in his administration his doors are open for all and you can visit him or call him anytime and by his grace he will be there to serve the good people of Bole District.

The newly confirmed DCE thanked the Regional Minister, the MP for Bole -Bamboi, the Savannah Regional Chairman, the traditional leaders, the Assembly Members and all the stakeholders who made it possible.

Hon. Salisu Bi-Awuribi, the Savannah Regional Minister, speaking after the DCE confirmation mentioned that Bole District Assembly is going to get unpresidented development and projects.

The Regional Minister urged the Assembly Members to team up with the DCE to be able to generate a lot of revenue for this purpose, the Assembly has a responsibility of generating a lot of Internal Generated Revenue (IGF).

Hon. Bi-Awuribi added that the concerns of the chiefs and the people of the traditional area, that they need an additional District has reached the ear of the President and the President will attend to their concerns.

Again this are the things that matter not the color of anybody or the ethnic origin or the geographical location or the name of that individual the people want development, and it’s through development that we can work together and indeed the peace of that layer is paramount and if there is no peace the cannot be any meaningful development and I call on you once again to rally behind the DCE and together we shall get development.
