The Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District Football Association has made a generous donation to the District referees, providing them with new kits to enhance their performance on the field.

The donation was made by the District FA Chairman, Mr. Alhassan Abdulraman Nyariba and his Vice, Mr. Charles Kipo both of whom have just begun their second term in office.

The referees play a crucial role in ensuring fair play and upholding the integrity of the game.

However, they often face challenges such as inadequate equipment and resources. The District FA therefore decided to step in and provide them with new kits to help them perform their duties effectively.

During the presentation ceremony, Mr. Alhassan Abdulraman emphasized the importance of supporting the referees and expressed his gratitude for their dedication to the game. He commended them for their hard work and commitment despite the challenges they face.

They were encouraged to continue to uphold the values of fair play and sportsmanship.

The referees were thrilled to receive the new kits, which included jerseys, shorts and socks.

They expressed their gratitude to the District FA for the generous donation, which will help them perform their duties with confidence and professionalism.

The gesture is a testament to the commitment of the District FA to promoting the growth of football in the district and support those who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the success of the game.

The District is currently playing the 2023/24 Juvenile/Colts League.
