The Assembly member for Kawurbi electoral area who also doubles as the Presiding Member for the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District assembly Alhaji Abdulai Mohammed has once again donated food Items to over 50 less privileged in his Electoral area.

This donation is the fourth time since he became the assembly member of the electoral area.

The President Member usually does this donation during the month of Ramadan to the less privileged ahead of the Eid -Fitr celebration.

On Monday the Assembly member as usual assembled the less privileged of his electoral area with coupon and donated rice, oil, noodles, canned fish and canned tomatoes as means of putting smiles on their faces.

With happiness and joy from the beneficiaries ,madam Fati expressed her joy to the media by saying it is only Allah that will bless the Assembly member for remembering them during such celebration and pray for Allah’s guidance and protection to him and his sponsors.

Madam Gifty also expressed gratitude for the kind gesture saying the items will not also be enough for everyone however with long life one will also receive such a package from the Assembly member.

Addressing the media Hon Abdulai Mohammed expressed his gratitude to Almighty Allah and his sponsors with a call from the electorates to remember them in prayers.

He said it is sad to see an electorate hungry in this month of blessing especially during the Eid adding that some can’t get to eat on such an occasion that is why he introduced this kind gesture annually.

He pleaded with his electorates to bear with him by explaining that if you weren’t selected this year but remember that next year you will be selected.
