Frontier Missions Network Donates Educational Materials to two schools.

Frontier Missions Network, a charity organization of the Zion Community Church International, has donated some educational materials to pupils of Yoliyiri D/A primary School in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District and Tinyekura D/A primary School in the Bole District of the Savannah Region.

The items, which included exercise books, pencils and erasers, were meant to augment the effort of parents in providing the academic needs of the children.

The gesture forms part of the organization plan to support pupils in underprivileged schools with these materials which are crucial to their education.

Receiving the items on behalf of the pupils, the Headteacher of Tinyekura D/A primary school, John Issahaku Abudu, commended the effort of Frontier Missions Network and promised that the pupils would make good use of the items.

He appealed to the organization to come to their aid if possible in building a teacher’s quarters for the school.

“The teachers have to be in a comfortable environment to be able to deliver well. We pray that you will come and a build a teacher’s quarters for us” he appealed.

The Executive Director of Frontier Missions Network, Apostle Dr. Sansah Moses Konjon, said the organization is trying to help underprivileged schools so that pupils could have a conducive learning environment.

He called on organizations and individuals to come on board with the little that they can to support the campaign in improving the lives of the underprivileged.

The Executive Director said the programme of the Frontier Missions Network, extends beyond the donation of exercise books to include the drilling of boreholes, donation of food and health screening exercises for the needy in other places as well.

On his part, the Assembly Member for the Chache Electoral Area, Hon. Alim Kuusaari, who was also present thanked the organization for extending such a support to his electoral area and called on other benevolent extend support to the school especially the pupils as most of them were bare footed.

He also called on the Bole District Assembly to as matter of urgency upgrade the road linking the community is not motorable hence discouraging teachers from accepting postings to the school.
