The special voting exercise in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency of the Savannah Region has successfully ended without any challenges encountered.
A total of 520 cast their ballots at the close of polls out of 574 electorates expected to vote in the special voting exercise in the Constituency.
The atmosphere at the polling centre, located at the premises of the District Assembly, was generally calm as voters went through the exercise without any operational hiccups.
Speaking to Yagbon News, the District Electoral Officer Mr Gyedua Isaac said the election was successful and said he was impressed with cooperation from the electorates.
He also expressed satisfaction with the output of the BVD, cooperation by political parties, high turnout and the entire process.
He said that there was only 3 facials recognition verification, 517 finger print and zero manual verification.
As the world still battles with the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pandemic its safety protocols were strictly adhered to at the centre.
Party agents of all the various political parties equally expressed satisfaction with the Serene environment in the elections was conducted as none of them laid down a complaint.
In every election year the Electoral Commission of Ghana firstly organise election for special voters including security agencies, media and other essential personnel’s whose services will be required during the general elections which falls on December 7.
