The 7th edition of the much talked about Bole District Juvenile Volleyball tournament which took place between 11-13 March came to a successful conclusion.

As expected Mandari Ball Busters Volleyball Club faced off with Seripe Mighty Fingers Volleyball Club in the finals for the under 15 Boys category. Mandari came short again as they lost by two straight sets to the defending champions.

Seripe has now won all the last three editions of the tournament, four times in total.

In the under 15 girls category, Makumah made history for making it to the finals but were no match for the undisputed champions Simariyiri Volleyball Club who are even yet to lose a game since the games began.

Meanwhile, the host team, Dabouyiri Risky Volleyballers defended their U-13 boys’ trophy after making light work of a much improved Simarayiri team.

The U-13 girls category was also won by Simariyiri who beat their Makumah counterparts straight.

The technical advisor of the tournament, Mr Godfred provided gold medals to all winning teams and best players of all levels.

Maluwe is the next destination of the volleyball tournament in June this year.
