Filing his nomination forms at the District EC office today, Raphael Kumah Abolasom expressed his determination to unseat Yusif Sulemana in the 2024 elections.
“There are a lot of challenges in the constituency as we speak. Infrastructure is a problem, we talk about education and that is also a problem, we talk about job creation, and agriculture is a problem”,
He added, “We stand for change, we stand for a new energy and we want to change the narrative of Bole -Bamboi in this year’s elections “.
For the past 32 years the Bole -Bamboi parliamentary seat has been the sole reserve of the NDC’s .
While the incumbent has secured a third chance from his party to contest the seat again in 2024, the 33-year-old NPP candidate says he is the one to change the trend.
“I’m the best man to take the seat from the National Democratic Congress. As we put together the right candidate and all the executives who will be able to synergize all the energies together, who will be able to unite all the fronts, I believe we’ll be able to annex the seat. One of the key things that I seek to do would be creating jobs or job creation. I want to create a very convenient environment for businesses to develop.”
Some party stalwarts including the DCE , former parliamentary candidate for 1996 elections , constituency executives among others, took turns to appeal to electorates to vote for Raphael Kumah Abolasom come December 7, 2024.
“Rapheal Kumah Abolasom is an all-rounded person who has the capacity to enter any corner to speak to all manner of persons based on his diverse background, so we the executives and party supporters here believe he can win the Bole -Bamboi seat for the NPP in 2024,” said the constituency secretary,Mr Shiraz Deen.
