The Bole District Education Directorate of the Ghana Education Service organised a mini Inter-circuit sports festival at Tinga from 17th to 21st May, 2024.
All the eight circuits under the directorate presented teams to compete in soccer boys and girls, volleyball boys and girls , cross country boys and girls as well as 100m boys and girls.
However, some circuits could not participate in all competitions except Banda Nkwanta, Seripe and Mankuma circuits.
Mankuma Circuit emerged overall champions having won volleyball boys and girls as well as cross country boys and girls.
Remarkably, whiles Banda Nkwanta Circuit also won both soccer boys and girls beating Bole West Circuit in both finals, Mankuma Circuit defeated Seripe Circuit in both volleyball boys and girls categories.
Instrestingly, the he well-organised competition saw the Assembly man for Tinga, The Tingawura and the District Director of Education attending both the opening and closing ceremonies.
All sports teachers lauded the Tinga Circuit Sports organiser and head teachers of Tinga cluster of schools for a good job done in the organisation.
Teams have been selected for the various disciplines to compete for the District in the upcoming Inter-district tournament at Salaga from May 30 to June 4 2024.
