GLYA Holds Stakeholders Meeting In Damongo.

The Gonjaland Youth Association has on Friday 20th June 2025 , or organized a stakeholders meeting in Damongo at the RCC conference hall to collaborate and work hand in hand and also discuss issues and how to find solutions to them.

Mr. Mufty Borejinkpr the secretary of GLYA Speaking to Yagbon News after the program, said the purpose of the meeting is aimed at fostering unity, collaboration, and sustainable youth development across GonjaLand.

Mr Mufty also added that the leadership of GLYA President Mr. Alhassan Baba Darison decided to invite all stakeholders and all subsidiary associations and then to agree that going forward they will work together.

The Media will also help to amplify the voices of young people and highlight the positive steps being taken towards community empowerment.

“People use some unprintable words and some do say all manner of things about our Traditional leaders and it’s really a great concern” he said.

So we basically came out with rules on how to sanitize our platforms and how to work together, and we hope by working together we will all see the Gonjaland we have always be willing to see.

The meeting brought together youth groups from all corners of GonjaLand to deliberate on shared challenges and forge a united front for joint action and advocacy.
