The Bole-Bamboi Constituency Communication Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Bashiru Amantana, in an interview with Yagbon Radio Sports has confirmed that the project His Excellence the Former President and Presidential Candidate of NDC for the 2024 election cut sod for is a sports complex for the good people of Bole but not just an AstroTurf.

‘What we are constructing is an ultramodern sports complex which will have a natural grass football pitch, a multipurpose court for volleyball, basketball and handball as well as a swimming pool.’ Bashiru confirms.

He added that dressing rooms and washrooms as well as a 500 seater capacity spectator stand would also be built.

Mr Amantana urged the sports fraternity and the people of Bole to remain patient and allow the contractor enough time to do a good job to avoid shoddy work.

The young officer praised the Member of Parliament for Bole Bamboi Constituency, Honourable Yusif Sulemana, aka Ori, for the role he played and continues to play in bringing such a wonderful project to Bole and its evirons.

Bashiru also thanked his boss, Mr. R.A. Jalilu, the Savannah Regional Communication Officer and the Regional Deputy Secretary and all other persons who contributed in diverse ways.

The Bole-Bamboi NDC spokesperson also assured that the next NDC government would take sports seriously.

He added that the fantastic sports policies outlined in the NDC 2024 manifesto would be fully implemented, particularly the school sports revamping agenda.
