The Sawla District Police Command is on a manhunt for four persons suspected to be involved in the kidnapping of a 50 years old man in Sawla on Tuesday, 17th August, 2021.
The District Police Commander ASP Degraft Armah Adjei in an interview with Yagbon News revealed that, wife of the victim reported to the Police on Wednesday morning that four men masked and armed raided their house and abducted his husband by name Alhaji Yahaya popularly known as Alhaji Party to an unknown destination.
ASP Degraft Armah Adjei, who confirmed the incident to this Portal added that the kidnappers are demanding 200,000.00 Ghana Cedis ( 2 billion old Ghana Cedis) as ransom.
According to the police commander,the victim is a Fulani man who deals in cattle trading.
Meanwhile, the Commander has given the assurance that the perpetrators will be brought to book and appealed to the general public to assist the police with information to arrest the culprits as the command had launched a manhunt to track the perpetrators and rescue the victim.
