The Presiding Bishop of Methodist Church Ghana Most Rev. Dr. Paul K. Boafo on Tuesday, 17th August, 2021, visited the Bole District Diocese of the Methodist church.
Most Rev. Dr. Paul K. Boafo in his speech admonished members of the church to be steadfast and live a Godly life which portray their religious teachings as christians.
He further entreated them to keep working hard for the development of the church and hopes that the Bole circuit is able to establish more circuits in surrounding towns in the district.
Meanwhile, he assured the congregation that the national administrative body is ready to work with the Bole district circuit to bring a lasting solution to the recent disturbances between the church and other members of the public.
Mr. Opoku Kwarteng, the Bole District circuit steward of Methodist Church Ghana noted in his welcome address that historically it was the Bole circuit which gave birth to the Damongo and Sawla-Tuna-Kalba circuits and this is as a result of the diligence of previous bishops of the circuit.
He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the Bole circuit of the Methodist church to Most Rev. Dr. Paul K. Boafo for being the first presiding bishop to pay a pastoral visit to the Bole district circuit since it establishment in1961.
