Sawla-Tuna-Kalba MP embarks on “Thank You” tour in his constituency.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Sawla-Tuna-Kalba, Hon. Andrew Dari Chiwitey has embarked on a thank you tour in his constituency to express his heartfelt gratitude to the electorate for their massive support in the December 07, 2020 elections.

Some of the communities the MP visited were Suuma, Kulbi, VuuVuu, Nobonteng, Norchiteytee.

The rest were Jorchimteng, Tagalateng, Kalba and Wuoldi.

The tour, formed part of the MP’s sacred pledge to foster closer ties with the people of Sawla-Tuna- Kalba to chart a common path to fast track development in the area.

It was also in fulfilment of a campaign pledge to remain accessible and accountable to her constituents when elected into office.

So far, Hon. Andrew has visited over 40 communities and he hopes to cover all communities within the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency.

The MP thanked them for voting for him and the NDC Presidential Candidate Mr. John Dramani Mahama.

The MP reiterated his commitment to push the developmental agenda of the constituency forward and called for their support to develop the constituency.

The MP who is also a philanthropist took the opportunity to donate 40 bags of cement and iron rods to renovate the Jorchimteng primary school which has been ripped off by rain storm.

At Kalba, the MP interacted with the residents and urged them to host a violent free tournament of the Savannah Football Tournament, which is set to kick – off on Monday January 3, 2022.
