The Savannah Regional NDC has expressed their fondest felicitations to the National Executives who were democratically elected at the 10th National Delegates Congress held in Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, 17th December, 2022.
According to R.A Jalil, the Savannah Regional Communication Officer, the Regional Secretariat highly commend the National Organizing Planning Committee, ably chaired by Hon. Alex Segbefia and the entire membership of the Party for the peaceful manner in which this year’s Congress was organized to elect National Executives who are clothed with the legitimacy to steer the affairs of the Party for the next four years.
“Particular congratulations goes to the two sons of the soil (region); Chief Sorfo Azorka and Hon Malik Basintale, the Fitst Vice Chairman and the Deputy National Communication Officer respectively for their overwhelming endorsements”, he stated in a statement issued on December 18,2022.
It is certainly a good feeling to see former regional executives you knew and worked with, being elevated to such prestigious positions at the national level, the statement added.
Mr R. A Jalil also congratulated the gallant delegates and the entire membership of the party, for the peaceful manner they conducted themselves throughout the electoral processes at the congress ground.
“But all these wouldn’t have been possible without the strategic planning and organizational skills of Hon Alex Segbefia and his team. They deserve a deafening standing ovation”, the statement indicated.
He maintained that as Regional executives they are assuring the newly elected National Chairman Hon Johnson Aseidu Nketia and his executives of an unflinching support to their administration.
“As newly elected regional officers, we look forward to working with you to concert our efforts for the optimal agenda of winning all 7 seats in the region come 2024”, he noted.
The statement furthered that it is their humble prayer and appeal, all aspirants who were not successful at their ambitions are brought onboard, for the bigger task of unseating this incompetent administration.
According to R.A Jalil, the excruciating hardship, unprecedented levels of corruption and the power drunk leadership style of this useless Nana/Bawumia government can’t continue when the chance presents itself come 2024.
The euphoria across the country to see the comeback of Mahama is felt by all. And this can only be achieved with a united NDC front, he added.
