MP for Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency donates furniture to Schools.

The Member of Parliament for Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency, Hon. Chiwiitey Andrew Dari has for the second time donated furniture to schools in his Constituency through the District Education Directorate.

The Constituency lawmaker on Monday, the 12th December, 2022, handed over Three Hundred (300) pieces of furniture to the District Director of Education for Sawla-Tuna-Kalba for onwards distribution to beneficiary schools.

The donation was made on behalf of the Hon. MP by the Constituency Vice Chairman, Mr. Mahama Zakaria accompanied by the Research Assistant, Mr. Maal-eong Thomas and the Constituency Communication Officer, Mr. Ebaltey John.

This donation was made at the time that most learners in schools virtually lie on bare floor during the teaching and learning process.

Asides, the numerous calls to the MP to assist ameliorate the plight of the kids, he himself witnessed the sad situation in some schools during his Monitoring at the beginning of the Academic Year.

The Public Relation Officer at the District Education Directorate, Mr. Yirnaa Nonti Mathew received the furniture behalf of the District Director of Education.

He thanked the Hon. MP for the kind gesture and assured him that the items will be put into good use.

He equally expressed his sincere appreciation to the Member of Parliament for his unflinching support to the education delivery in the district over the years.

The PRO further called on other stakeholders in the education delivery chain to follow the benevolent foot steps of the Hon. MP in order to improve learning outcomes in the District.

Other officers who were present to witness the short handing over ceremony include; some staff of the Education Directorate, COHBS Leadership and Head teachers.
