Professor Kalamonia stepped into the forecourt of the Wasipewura’s Palace, ready to showcase his damba dance skills.

Little did he know that he was in for surprise as the Chiefs, Queen Mothers and the youth enthusiastically suddenly swarmed around him with adoration.

It was indeed, a moment of showing gratitude to his tireless efforts in supporting the community’s department.

The Queen Mothers danced and smiled enthusiastically as they embraced Professor Kalamonia.

Similarly, the Chiefs, beautifuly clothed in their regalia, nodded in respect and acknowledgement of Professor Kalamonia’s dedication to their community’s development.

As the youth cheered and chanted his name, Professor Kalamonia’s eyes shone with emotion.

He had worked tirelessly to empower them, to provide a lot of opportunities for them. And now, they were celebrating him, their beloved mentor and leader.

This 2024 Wasipe Damba festival was indeed a stunning success, a kaleidoscope of color and energy.

But for Professor Kalamonia, the true reward was the love and appreciation of the people.

In that moment, he knew that his hard work and efforts had made a lasting impact, one that would resonate for generations to come.

As the festivities drew to a close, the Wasipewura’s Palace echoed with laughter and music. Professor Kalamonia, surrounded by his new family, felt a deep sense of belonging.

He had found his place in Daboya, and they had found a champion in him.

Together, they would build a brighter future, one rooted in tradition and propelled by progress.
