The New Patriotic Party in Savannah led by the Regional Chairman, Iddrisu Suleman ( Kalomonia) has on Saturday, October 24, 2020 inaugurated two  groups in Tuna in the Sawla- Tuna -Kalba Constituency.

The groups included “unique camp” and “Women of Hope”  to assist the party in its activities ahead of the December 7, 2020 elections.

Speaking to Yagbon Radio News, Mrs Gala, the Chairperson of the Women of Hope said the formation of the group has become necessary as the crucial elections is fast approaching.

She stated that women are really the beneficiaries of the Akuffo Addo Government, stating how Free SHS has come to reduce the burden on parents.

“I remember how we used to sell all our properties just to give our children basic education but with this NPP Government Secondary Education is free”, she added.

When the erstwhile administration withdrew the allowance of Nursing and Teacher Training College it become a burden on us as parents , that’s the reason why we formed this group to go every nook and cranny of Sawla- Tuna-Kalba to tell them what NPP Government has done.

Setting the records straight, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency Hon. Seidu Nuhu Banasco outlined what he has done for the people of Tuna including a bus for Tuna Secondary Technical School and an Ambulance.

Hon. Banasco said in an interview with Yagbon Radio News that the endorsement by the youth, old men and women is an indication of victory for him and the Nana Addo.
