The match day seven(7) game between Bole United and STK Stars was the top liner of the week in the on going Division Two League in the Northern Region.

That was the second meeting of the two teams this season in the league. In the first round of the season , Bole United beat STK Stars by 2 goals to one (2-1) at the Sawla DA JHS park to carry all the three(3) points.

Before the game today, Bole United lost by two goals to one (2-1) against pusher FC last week at BOSEC park whiles STK Stars were held to a goalless draw by Bole Hearts Babies at the Sawla DA JHS park.

It was an interesting game to watch between the two top teams in the league. Both teams played very well in the first half of the game creating a lot of chances but failed to make good uses of the chances created with the home team Bole United dominating the first half of the game.

The first half of the game ended with both teams failing to find the back of the net.

In the second half of the game, Bole United were determined to win the game thus put more pressure on the away team.

Midfielder of Bole United with jersey no. 8 by name Abdulai Seidu ,( El) gave long pass to the striker with jersey number 10 by name Abubakari Mahama who scored a brilliant goal to break the deadlock of the game on the 58th minute for Bole United.

The away team , came close to equalising but unfortunately the player of STK Stars rather decided to use his hand to score. He was shown a straight red by the Referee reducing the away team STK star to ten(10) players on the field.

Bole United took an advantage of that and doubled the lead in the game through a player with jersey no 15 by name Ibrahim Tenin on the 70th minute to make it two goals to nil.

The match ended at the Bole kurabaso Park with Bole United winning by two goals to nil against STK Stars.

After this victory today, Bole United are back on top of the league Table in zone six(6) with 16 points.
