The Secretary for Bole -Bamboi of the New Patriotic Party, Mr Abdulai Ibrahim has said no one has an intension to subvert the party’s constitution in the compilation of the new polling station album.
He stated this on Yagbon Radio Traffic Hour on Thursday, February 17, 2022 to declare his intention to contest the constituency secretary and to set the records straight on the compilation of the album.
According to him, his intention to contest is motivated by his achievement in the party.
The incumbent and hopeful constituency secretary said he made an effort in seeing the construction of the party office.
He added that the party was almost on it knees in 2008 but with their effort the party has seen improvement.
He recounted how he has to use his salary to sponsor a radio program just to galvanise support for the party he mentioned this among others.
On the Polling station elections and the constituency elections, he said he wants to assure all aspirants that they will have a credible register.
Mr. Ibrahim said the constituted committee is made up of credible people who will do the right thing adding that only two constituency executives are part of the committee.
He listed Chairman, Secretary, Patrons Chairman or Rep, Council of elders Chairman or Rep, Rep from Regional Executive Committee, the Director of Research and election, and the IT coordinator as members of the committee to see to the compilation of the album.
On petitions, he describe all those actions as illegal saying the petitioners ought to have petitioned the constituency executive committee before going to the regional and national level in that order but rather jumped the gap.
He urged all to exercise restrain as the right thing would be done for the best interest of the party.
