The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress has said that the bad governance that had happened to Ghana under the Akufo Addo administration shouldn’t happen again.

He said this country is the heart of the entirely black race with Kwame Nkrumah but this group of people destroyed his legacy and the country Ghana.

Fifi Kwetey was speaking during the regional campaign lunch of the National democratic Congress in the Savannah Region.

The Chief scribe emphasised that anytime this country is given to the NPP they mess up the country.

Additionally when Jerry John Rawling took over they struggled to take power with kufour and took this country back and that is the same backward they took this country to with Nana Addo.

He reminded the people of Damongo to know that Samuel Abu Jinapor represents what Nana Addo represents.

The General secretary said the Savannah Region is the spotlight of the 2024 election because they represent NDC in the name of John Mahama.

He encouraged them to emulate the volta region for the support they gave to Rawling and continue to do for the NDC by given the party 7/7 MPs.

Speaking at the event the former minority leader Haruna Iddrisu said the Northern and Savannah Regions have a duty to give John Mahama the vote he deserves.

Lamenting how the Upper West and Upper East regions have always supported the NDC but with Savannah and Northern region the narrative has changed.

He said he was a witness to a deal with the UK minister for Africa’s development to develop a water project in Damongo but unfortunately the project has not been executed.

So if Samuel has resources to doll out then he wants the people Damongo constituency to take it and vote them out.

Malik Basintale the Deputy National Communication Officer said the NPP cannot develop the northern sector of Ghana.

According Malik he challenges the NPP that if they develop water project in Damongo he will walk naked, the question is have they been able to bring water to Damongo.

He vowed that as a grandson of Ndewura Jakpa then he wants to tell the NPP that this year is 7/7 MP for Savannah Region and Victory for Mahama.
