Chipurotey Peter, the suspect believed to be in his late 20s, has been nabbed by the police for killing his brother’s son at Kporiju, suburb of Sawla-Tuna Kalba District in the Savannah region.
The body of the poor boy, Sei Wolo, has since been released to the family for burial.
Yagbon News gathered that the suspect sneaked inside the room of the victim when he was still sleeping to commit such a heinous act.
According to a community member the suspect picked a stick and hit the head of Wolo who instantly passed on.
The community member who spoke with Yagbon News, said it was the friends of the victim who discovered lifeless body and reported the incident to the elders of the community.
He mentioned a complaint was lodged at the Kalba police post and victim was subsequently arrested after he confessed that he committed the act .
The suspect mentioned that he committed the crime because his brother’s son doesn’t respect him.
