The Bole-Bamboi Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expressed discontent with the shoddy implementation of the One Village, One Dam (1V1D) project by the Akufo-Addo led Government.

In a press conference led by the Constituency Communications Officer, Mr Bashiru Amantana said the NDC led government constructed better dams as compared with the new dams being constructed by the current government.

The NDC described the 1V1D project by the government as a meaningless and wasteful venture.

Mr. Bashiru said the NPP government had failed to deliver on its promise of providing every village with a dam.

He stressed that during the regime of Former President John Mahama 120 dams were constructed across the five Northern Regions of which the Bole District benefited 2.

Under the the 1D1F policy, Bashiru said the claim by the Vice President that work was ongoing in the in the Bole District for a factory was untrue.

Bashiru maintained the there is no extension of electricity to Chobirinyo as claimed by the Dr. Bawumia.
We cannot locate 16 seater WC in Yalewa as trumpet by the Vice president.

Mr. Bashiru mentioned construction of the Sawla-Fulfoso road with projects along its stretch, construction of E blocks, classroom blocks, extension of electricity to rural communities among others as some of the achievements by the NDC under Former President John Mahama.

The Vice President yesterday paid a courtesy call on the chief of the Bole Traditional Area, Sarfo Kutuge Feso l and indicated that the NPP government has served Ghanaians better than any other government in the country.

The Vice President Bawumia, mentioned the implementation of the Free SHS, restoration of teachers and nurses allowances and paying of Islamic instructors as some of the life changing policies by the NPP government.

He said Ghanaians will not risk giving back the country to Former President John Mahama.
