The Ghana Revenue Authority Ladies Club which is made up of the Customs Division, Domestic Tax and Support Services has elected Vivien Nyoni Ne-ormah as their president.
She polled 766 votes against her closest contender, madam Rukia Iddrisu who polled 569 valid votes.
Her journey to the top position did not come easy; it has been one of determination, persistence and tenacity, as she has to combed the entire country to campaign for her victory.
Madam Vivien aspires to be a great advocate, a philanthropist, and a change driver. She’s among the few advocates today whose advocacy does not discriminate, contradicts neither nor suppresses the opposite sex.
In terms of leadership, she has gained quite some experience. Vivien is currently the national president of the Brifor Youth Association.
She is versatile, excellent in planning and organizing, and everyone can speak of her excellence in Communications.
To keep championing the aspirations of impacting and inspiring, she took the bolder step of running for the position of the GRA Ladies Club which has over two thousand membership nationwide.
Speaking to Yagbon News after her election into the top position of the GRA Ladies Club, she said her main objective is to fight for the welfare of the women in the Services.
” It has not been an easy journey,but I thank all those that contributed to this huge success and I am grateful to all those who for voted me”, she said.
