The MP for Bole-Bamboi constituency Hon Yusif Sulemana has on behalf Lordina Foundation presented some food stuff to the Bole Girls model Junior High school.
The items include, One bag of gari, One bags white beans beans, Two packs tin tomatoes, Two parks donor oil, Two bags of sugar, Ten bags rice and Five Thousand Ghana cedis (Ghc5000).
Accepting the food items from the Foundation the Head teacher of Bole Girls Model Junior high school Madam Gloria Mwanyu expressed her gratitude to Mrs Mahama Lordina for the kind gesture.
She was quick to admit that Lordina Foundation has really solved the biggest challenge of the school.
Madam Gloria said the school has numerous challenges which is feeding as a major challenge pleading to turn her attention to them for continuous support.
Explaining that the most challenging time of the feeding is always between July and August where the children go home for food but cannot access food which is really affecting academic work.
With a student population of 53, she said is low saying the school needed at least 200 students and called for the support of everyone and wishing Lordina Mahama the best of success in her endeavors.
Addressing the teachers and students of the Bole Girls Model, Hon Yusif said the presentation is in response to a letter to Mrs Lordina and her foundation received from the school.
He on behalf of Lordina admonishes the student to take advantage of the gesture to improve on their academic performance.
The Hon MP said education is also a network where colleagues after school occupied various positions to support others.
The Hon MP said these children are the future so it is incumbent upon the current leadership to protect their future adding that this is just the beginning of great things to come from Lordina Mahama.
The Hon MP said this same foundation built children’s ward at Bole hospital and is a sign that great things will come from this foundation to support the people of Bole.
The MP also pleaded with parents to take responsibility over these children by doing their best to support them in their needs so that their future can be safeguarded.
