The Lobi- Birifor Council of Elders has expressed gratitude to the Overlord of the Gonja Kingdom for accepting the items demanded by the Overlord meant for the cleansing of the land following the violent clashes that led to the lost of lives and destruction of properties.
The acceptance of the items by the Overlord is a necessary step towards ensuring peace after the violent clashes, said the Council of Elders of the Lobi- Birifor tribe.
