Hon.Ernest Botah and Godfred Acheampong embarked on a free health screening for residents of Naharziiri.

The CEO of Vision Way Organisation, and a former parliamentary aspirant for the Sawla -Tuna – Kalba constituency together with philanthropist Godfred Acheampong last Saturday organised a free health screening exercise for residents of Naharziiri and surrounding communities in the Sawla -Tuna Kalba District in the Savannah Region.

The people were screened for health conditions and ailments such as blood pressure, among others.

They were also educated on good health habits.

According to the CEO of Vision Way Organasation those who had serious health conditions were referred for further medical attention, while those with minor ailments were treated and given medication.

Hon.Botah and his partner also donated 1000 exercise books to school children in the Nahari Basic Schools.

The donation was to offer school children the opportunity to access quality educational resources to improve their learning.

During the event, the Chief Executive Officer of Vision Way Organasation , called on parents, the government and all other stakeholders to play active roles in supporting the less privileged in  communities, especially in their educational development.

The school children lauded the NGO for it kind gesture and thanked them for coming to ease the challenges of getting exercise books.

Hon.Botah and his partner had earlier on Friday donated hampers/ clothing to mothers of sick babies at the Sawla District hospital.

One hundred mosquito nets were also distributed to residents of the Naharziiri and its surrounding communities.

The CEO of the NGO appealed for a borehole and school which the DCE promised of getting for the community
