Minister of Lands and Natural Resources and MP for Damongo Constituency, Samuel Abu Jinapor, has called on the people of Sawla -Tuna-Kalba to vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the December elections.

Drawing from the fact that the NPP has not won that seat in its parliamentary elections for the past 28 years, the Minister urged the electorates to change the trend which has stifled development in the area.

He said voting for the NPP parliamentary candidate for Sawla -Tuna-Kalba Constituency, Ankaara Sankara, will fasttrack developmental projects in the constituency.

Samuel Abu Jinapor made the call when he addressed party faithfuls at Tuna as the NPP presidential candidate Dr Mahamadu Bawumia tours the Savannah Region.

The Damongo MP said although the NPP has never won the Sawla -Tuna-Kalba parliamentary seat since the inception of the fourth republic, significant projects executed in the Savannah Region, happened under NPP government.

He said under the government of President Akuffo Addo birthed the Savannah Region, provision of portable drinking water, construction of bridges, expansion of roads among others.

He said the Free SHS policy in particular has come to address a critical educational challenge in the constituency.

Speaking at the rally in Tuna, Ankaara Sankara said the time has come for the people of Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency to select an NPP candidate as their parliamentarian.

Ankaara Sankara assured the people of more developments should he be elected as their next representative in Parliament.
