The Assemblyman for Kawurbi Electoral Area in the Sawla -Tuna-Kalba District, Mr Abdulai Mohammed has commended Hon.Andrew Dari Chiwitey, the Member of Parliament (MP), of the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency for his commitment to the provision of basic amenities to enhance the wellbeing of the people.

The Assemblyman who is also the Presiding Member of the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District Assembly, therefore, affirmed his support for him and promised that the constituents will retain him in Parliament come December 7 to continue with the development of the area.

The Presiding Member gave the commendation in a interview with Yagbon radio morning show host Abdul Fataw Diwura on July 23, 2024.

The PM made the commendation in reaction to a statement made by the Flag bearer of the NPP, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia urging the people of Sawla-Tuna-Kalba constituency to change their pattern of voting in the upcoming December elections.

Mr Mohammed asked the people not to deny themselves the opportunity to retain Hon.Andrew Dari Chiwitey who would represent their interest and ensure more development projects to enhance their standard of living.

“Don’t fail to vote massively for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the December 7, 2020 general election”, he said.

According to him, the current MP had performed creditably well in all areas of development ranging from provision of potable drinking water, health promotion, improving educational standards and many more.

“It is my belief that the provision of social amenities, and improving the lives of the people ,the constituents will retain Hon.Andrew to continue his work as their lawmaker “, Mr Mohammed said.
