On Monday, 25th November 2024, Hon. Yahaya Issahaku, popularly known as Kalusha, the immediate past Deputy Savannah Regional Youth Organizer and a key financier of the NDC in the Savannah Region, made a generous donation of items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency. The donation aims to strengthen the 2024 election campaign efforts in the constituency.

At a brief ceremony attended by constituency executives, the items were received on behalf of the MP and Parliamentary Candidate for the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency, Hon. Andrew Dari Chiwitey, by the Constituency Vice Chairman, Mr. Mahama Zakaria.

The donated items included:
30 cartons of Verna bottled water (480 bottles),1 box of solar torchlights (120 pieces) 30 pieces of 24-hour economy baseball caps,201 liters of fuel (valued at GHC 3,000), 2 laptops.

In a press release copied to Yagbon radio Online, Hon. Kalusha expressed that this gesture forms part of his broader commitment to supporting the NDC in the Savannah Region, with particular emphasis on the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency.

He highlighted that earlier, during a fundraising dinner with H.E. John Dramani Mahama, he had also made a generous donation to the Regional Executive Committee. He reiterated his unwavering commitment to supporting the NDC until victory is secured for H.E. John Dramani Mahama and Hon. Andrew Dari Chiwitey in the December 7th general election.

Hon. Kalusha further noted that while the donated items are intended to support the constituency’s general operations, the laptops are specifically designated for the Constituency Secretariat and Communication Bureau to enhance administrative and operational efficiency.

Receiving the items, Mr. Mahama Zakaria expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the NDC in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency, commending Hon. Kalusha for his consistent and impactful contributions to the party.

In the same ceremony, Hon. Kalusha, on behalf of Hon. Hajia Veronica Ajara Bukari, presented a cheque of GHC 3,000 to Hon. Andrew Dari Chiwitey to further support campaign activities.

Present at the event were key constituency executives, including Abdallah Osman Chaffi (Constituency Secretary), Alhassan Hussein (Zongo Caucus Coordinator), Kipo S. Isaac (Constituency Youth Organizer), Anbon Emmanuel (Constituency Youth Representative), and Yani Moses (Executive Member).
