The shot stopper has been impressive for the Phobians this season since joining the Accra based side from Elmina Sharks.
He has kept four clean sheets in the Ghana Premier League for Hearts of Oak as they sit eighth on the league log.
Speaking in an interview with Kumasi-based radio station Angel FM after the announcement he said, “I was watching the television and I saw my named mentioned for Black Stars call up”
“It has always being my dream to play the national team, right from childhood”
“Yes, it’s true my recent form has being better than previous and am glad, its hardworking”
“I thank each and every one for their support”, he added.
