On Saturday, November 8, 2025, Gonjaland Youth Association (GLYA), as part of their many ways of motivating both the youth and all the traditional leaders of the Savannah Region towards work, donated a brand new motorbike to Kandiawura.

This decision by the Gonjaland Youth Association, was taken after the association took a tour around all the Gonjaland communities, as part of their post election activities.

President of the Gonjaland Youth Association, Mr. Alhassan Darison, speaking to Yagbon Radio, graciously crowned Kandiawura as one of the noble leaders of the Gonja traditional council who even without a four-wheel drive or a motorbike for transportation purposes, still exerts more energy when it comes to serving his people.

In view of that, Mr. Alhassan Darison, on behalf of the Gonjaland Youth Association, presented a brand new motorbike to Kandiawura to aid his movement. With more emphasis on the need to do more as an association, Mr. Darison made it known that, the association, though not so financially liberated, will put heads together to further provide a very strong four-wheel drive for Kandiawura.Just before handing over the motorbike to Kandiawura, Mr. Alhassan tagged the activities of the association as a “pleasure”.

Kandiawura, expressing his heartfelt gratitude, first thanked the noble association for their unwavering support, and especially for recognizing and adding him to their numerous projects as an association.

He concluded by sanctifying the association, their good works, and finally to every single soul in the Gonja Kingdom.

Speaking on behalif of the Gonjaland Youth Association (GLYA), Mr. Alhassan Darison, the president, highlighted how prepared the association is to work vigorously in order to make most of their wildest dreams for Gonjaland a successful one.

Addressing all members present, Mr.Alhassan Darison, once again stated how crucial it is to always acknowledge some outstanding works and efforts aimed at promoting peace and development by the youth and all renowned personalities of the Gonjaland, to serve as a tool of motivation, and as well encourage them to work tirelessly for the Kingdom as a whole.

Having said that, the president of the association rounded his speech up by vividly stating that, that very presentation is not to be considered their final project as an association, rather, it should be considered as the very beginning of their great works.

The session finally came to an end with the extension of warm regards from the president of the Gonjaland Youth Association (GLYA), Mr. Alhassan Darison, to the chief, Kandiawura,to the association, the media, and to everyone who made it a point to be present.
