Former Northern Regional minister nominated as Mandariwura.

The paramount chief of Bole Traditional Area in consultation with the council of elders and all the protocol heads of the three royal gate have nominated Baale wura Gilbert Iddi as Mandari wura.

This was contained in a statement issued on June 5,2023 ,by the secretary to Bolewura, Abdulai Haruna Obey.

Baale wura Gilbert Seidu Iddi for more than 15 years worked in several senior management positions International Development and Agricultural agencies including managing an extensive agricultural programme funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

He served as Northern Regional Minister during the Rawlings era between 1997 and 2001.

He served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA) from 2011 to 2013.

Other positions he ever occupied includes
Northern Regional Minister from
January 2000 – January 2001
Northern Regional Minister,
January 1997 – January 1998.

He was the Deputy Northern Regional Minister (in-charge of Food and Agriculture)In office April 1993 – December 1996.

He attended Bawku Secondary School,Tamale Secondary School,
Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration

The Mandari skin became vacant due to the demise of the late Mandariwura Mumuni Isaac Dramani who was once also a former DCE in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District.
