The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufu-Addo has appointed Hajia Safia Mohammed, first National Deputy Women’s Organizer of the NPP as a member of the newly reconstituted National Hajj Board.
The new Board will have former MP for Offinso South, Alhaji Ben Abdallah Banda as Chairman.
Hajia Safia who hails from the Savannah Region thanked the President for the honour and promised to work hard to see the full realization of the Board.
“I think it is an opportunity for the President to appoint me as a Hajj Board member and I must say am grateful to him”, he told Abdul Fataw on Yagbon Radio morning show .
He urged Ghanaians to have confidence in the Nana Addo led government stressing that she is hopeful Ghanaians will renew the mandate of NPP come 2024.
