Duawura,Duawurche donates 3,000 books, other items to schools in Banda Nkwanta.

The Traditional Leadership of Banda Nkwanta has donated some learning materials to the two main schools in Banda Nkwanta.

The donation was done by Duawura Kassim Boressa I and Duawurche Jara Bakari on Tuesday,May 20,2025.

The donated items includes, sharpeners ,marker pens,3000 exercise books, elementary writing books, teachers lessons notebooks,notebooks,A4 sheets,erasers,pens and pencils,slates, Mathematical sets and files.

The donation is the second of its kind since she became the Duawurche of Banda Nkwanta .

Addressing the media, the secretary to Duawura ,Mr Jacob Gbolo Dindaa said the gesture is refreshing as the donation was timely for effective teaching and learning .

He said the children are the future leaders and most prominent persons so they shouldn’t be lured by activities of mining in the area not to take education seriously.

Duawurche Jara said the donation to the schools is timely because of some positive response she received about an improved education in Banda Nkwanta.

She reiterated that efforts from the teachers accounted for the gesture and urged the children to take their studies seriously.

A linquest of the Bole traditional area Zakaria Dogtey said this not the first time he is witnessing such a positive impact from the traditional leaders, adding that the effort is development of nurses ,doctors, politicians among other professions in Banda Nkwanta.

The Assembly member for Banda Nkwanta said the gesture was a motivational one for the female child to know that they can make it in life .

He further appealed that any assistant from other philanthropist should consider donating student desks to the schools for effective teaching and learning.

Speaking on behalf of his colleague teachers , Mr. Amadu Mahama said the joy of a solicitor is when he or she gets what they need is exactly what is happening .

He further said they will make sure they the gesture is put into proper use to make donors proud.
